"Ghost-hacked"in Ragnarok by a Boy （ラグナロクで少年がアバター乗っ取り）

On July 22, the Cyber-Police of Saitama Prefectural Police arrested a 13-year-old boy living in Yokohama, for violation of the Illegal Access Prohibition Act.

The boy is suspected that he illegally used ID and password of a businessman (27) living in Saitama and accessed to Ragnarok Online, a leading MMORPG in Japan, in December last year. At that time he was an elementary student.
この少年は、小学6年だった昨年12月、埼玉県の男性会社員（27）のＩＤとパスワードを不正に使い、オンラインゲーム「ラグナロク・オンライン」に不正に接続した疑いがもたれている。

The boy was an authorized subscriber of the game. He "ghost-hacked" the avatar of the other player to drop off the items such as weapons so that the boy's own avatar could collect them.
この少年もこのゲームの会員だったが、他人のアバターを勝手に操作し、自分のアバターに武器などのアイテムを渡していたという。

Since the last August to January, the boy could steal more than 100 IDs by simply trying random characters and numbers, and illegally accessed more than 400 times.
少年は、昨年8月から今年1月までの間、適当な数字や文字を打ち込むという簡単な方法で100人以上の他人のＩＤを盗み、400回以上、不正に接続していたという。
